I have been waiting for these ADORABLE twins forever! (or at least it feels like it). Their momma is a good friend of mine and her other two boys are friends with my boys! Safe to say this momma has her hands full, but im sure these cuties make her day to day that much sweeter.
I cannot get over how cute they are! Little Lexie is the only girl and has 3 older brothers, good luck ever bringing boys home!
Nicholas is as cute as can be and looks so much like his older brothers did when they were babies. I am sure for their mom its a nice flash back!
I cannot wait until their mom is feeling up to some play dates I want as many snuggles as I can get!
Newborn safety is the most important part of a newborn session. Have you ever thought "wow. how did they get that shot". Believe it or not ALOT of newborn photos are composites (two or more photos merged together) or the supports are photo shopped out all together. To try and get a baby to hold up his own head is not only unsafe but also unrealistic.
Its very important that there is always a spotter very close by, and hand on baby when in a prop. Better to be safe then sorry right?
I thought I would share a photo before and after to show the work that is put in post processing.
Newborns are my favorite type of shoot. I love to snuggle and hey lets be honest it keeps the baby fever away! There are so many different options and I love being able to include important family interests into the shoot! Brynn was so adorable and I was awaiting her birth for a while. Her older brother came in a few weeks before she was born to have his cake smash..yes you read that right one year apart! amazingly their mom is a patient and sweet lady who can obviously handle it! Here are some photos from her session :)
I am so behind on blogging that I'm shoving a few session into one!
I LOVE shooting cake smashes. They get messy and sticky, they show off the toddlers personality so well. Whether they dive right in and make a huge mess, eat it so dainty, or need some encouragement, no session is ever the same. Outcomes are so unpredictable. will they love it or hate it? I do usually get at least one crying or pouting face, but come on its their birthday they can cry if they want to!!
Sessions start out with some posed one year shots to remember their cute little smiles and just how lovable they are.
Then we pull out the cake and they go crazy! Some love it some hate it but either way it makes for great photos!
Last is bath time!!
I have been so fortunate to photograph so many families this year! I am a little behind on blogging so im going to showcase a few families here!
When doing a family session it always makes me so happy watching them interact. you can feel the love and get a glimpse of their everyday life (except without a camera in there face!).
I have been lucky enough to have met some of these families a few times before and even a couple times since. So many milestones! Cake smashes, new babies, crawling to walking, learning to talk and so much more. I have been able to see a few of these milestones happen and that is one of the many reasons I love doing what I do!
Take a peak at some wonderful families
